The Literacy Texas Annual Conference is designed to meet the training needs of a broad cross-section of organizations that provide literacy services from the small all-volunteer organization to the larger organizations with numerous paid staff. The conference features workshops of wide-ranging topics for your professional development.
Who Should Attend?
Literacy and adult education programs, community-based organizations that provide literacy services, literacy coalitions, libraries, faith-based literacy programs and family literacy programs—executive directors, program managers, administrators, board members, volunteers, instructors, and tutors.

John Corcoran - Opening Session - August 6th
John Corcoran's is the author of the books, "The Teacher Who Couldn't Read" and
“The Bridge to Literacy.” He has served as a member on the board of the San Diego
Council on Literacy and as a recent board member of the National Institute for Literacy,
appointed by President George H.W. Bush and continued under President Bill Clinton.
